It is nice … but I have to say, the “left menu” would be better served ON the left.
Having it to the right of the site content is too confusing and aesthetically annoying.

I will remember that need time I am using a template with a left column. This template is both columns on the right. I assume the menu you are referring to is the ‘Main Menu’.
