    Hi,
I installed Joomla with the Quickstart package (JA Teline II). Everything ok, but I do not see JA Highslide module? Why?

    Hi

As such, there is no Highslide Module.

However, if you’ve installed the quickstart data, in Module Manager find the module called ‘media’ (mod_custom).

If you then check the HTML you will be able to see the Highslide code that makes this work:

    <a class="highslide" href="images/stories/demo/gallery/kotelethnomus.jpg" onclick="return hs.expand(this, {outlineType : 'drop-shadow', width:640, height:480, captionText:'Ethnographic Museum, Kotel, Bulgaria'})"> <img src="images/stories/demo/gallery/kotelethnomus.jpg" alt="Highslide JS" title="Click to enlarge" border="0" width="85" height="55" />

Thanks Chris, that is good to know. I always learn new things looking over the forum here, little tidbits that make life easier.

    Thanks for your reply.

I have tried to insert a Youtube video (YOUTUBE Module), but instead to open the popup, the video open full page. This is my problem.

In order to get a YouTube video to open in highslide, you will need the following code:

    <li><a class="video" href="http://www.youtube.com/v/Hhrhg5T9xD8&hl=en&rel=0" onclick="return hs.htmlExpand(this, { objectType: 'iframe', width:425, height:355 } )"> Sandanski and Melnik </a></li>

I’ve just tested this on my site, it works fine!

(You may need to change the width and height depending on the video)

    Hope this helps.
    Chris
