Hello,

Can someone tell me where I can find the job alerts menu item, because it is not in the list and I like to use this feature.

Hello Tim,

I am sorry that i do not fully undertand your question. Pls clarify more then i can help.

The alert menu is in the Jobseeker menu group and you can create new menu like the other menus in Joomla.

HI HeRo,

NO problem to clarify. At the job seekers menus there is no Job alert menu item. I want to add this item and so I made a new item and can choose what it has to be. The list where I can choose from I have posted before. As you can see there is no Job Alert option in the list. So I was wondering which item I have to use, is there going something wrong or do I need to add it on a different way. I hope this helps and you can help me with an answer.

I am sorry that there is an issue about layout name in the xml file, please selct default layout in that list for Job Alert page

Employers' Applications Layout
Candidates' Applications Layout
Employer account information
Employer transaction history
RSS Generator
RSS Guide
Default
Form
Post standard job layout
Candidates' favorite jobs
Job List Layout
Then please try to update the components/com_jajobboard/views/jobalerts/tmpl/default.xml with the content as below:

<metadata>
<layout title="My Jobs Alert Layout">
</layout>
</metadata>
