Hi-
I just installed JA Job Board to a new test site, and so far so good…
I’m not a coder, and my PHP skills are beginner at-best.

I updated the API key on the Jobs Map module and I’m trying to figure out how to get the default map to center on a small town, with default zoom level at about 100 miles or so…
I’m looking at ‘/mod_jajobs_map/tmpl/default.php’ -but I could be way off-base!

If anyone can provide some insight, or point me in the right direction, I’d be grateful!

Hello Chris.

Have you tried updating your settings in the plugin? Try this:

* Extensions -> Plugin Manager -> System – JA Map

* On the right hand side beneath ‘Plugin Parameters’ you will see ‘General Configuration’

* You can choose Target Location by city name, or by longitude/latitude

* You can also specify map type (road, satellite, etc.) and initial zoom level
