Just bought the extension and cannot set it up to work. When trying to “Start re-indexing” in the Extrafields plugin, then it gives the following error:

    <blockquote>Completed for items from 0 to <br /> <b>Warning</b>: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in <b>/home/server/joomla15/plugins/k2/jak2_indexing.php</b> on line <b>162</b><br /> 20 Continues from <br /> <b>Warning</b>: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in <b>/home/server/joomla15/plugins/k2/jak2_indexing.php</b> on line <b>162</b><br /> 20
    Completed !</blockquote>

How could I solve this problem?

Thanks, Arvind, for the initiative to help. Unfortunately the policy of my organization won’t allow me to share any login data with third parties. Can it be solved somehow in another way, e.g. by sending you some bug tracking data etc?

    Hi studiosus,

I understand the policies enforced by your organization. However, we are not able to replicate the issue on our end. You can always change your passwords once the work is done, or create a new temporary set for us.

For now, try to use the latest files, from the download section (not sure when you downloaded the files in use). Install the latest downloads over your current version. No need to uninstall the older ones and try again.

The request for login info is official from JoomlArt.com for debugging and fixing it up for you. If required i can send you official requirements through our ticket system.

the other way can be if you can try to replicate the issue on your any other site / clone site, where we can have a look.

We are open to all options in helping you out. As told by developer, it needs to be checked at the source of the issue. We are not able to replicate or locate this issue on our end.

Sure, however I cannot step over my line of authorization. Won’t you have a slightest idea what may be causing this? The problem is I cannot also see any “extra fields” under the K2 Extra Fields tab.

    1. did you try to reinstall with the latest download?
    2. Above info does not help.
    3. Try using the module for once on any other site?

Also check in your K2 config. Do you have extra fields for all your articles? I mean are you using K2 extra fields for your articles. That could be one of the reason that the plugin will not show the extra fields in the backend, if they are not present with in the component.

man, its like shooting in the dark. Really helpless to suggest anything.

    Same issue:
    http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/indexing-does-not-work-invalid-argument-line-162-pluginsk2jak2_indexing-php/

I sent my site’s login credentials to Joomlart via a support ticket but haven’t heard back… starting to feel like the $50 for the extensions club was a waste of money.

You can use your forum username / pass to login.

I will check the issue for you and since the devs are off for the weekend, it may be monday to get the final solution, incase of bug.

Thanks, from my side the indexing works with the new version installed.

However, I still do not get it of how to add different/multiple extra fields to one item, that they could bee see like under the “Additional info” in this webpage: http://templates.joomlart.com/ja_portfolio/index.php?option=com_k2&view=item&id=2:vel-orci-felis-libero-nec-id-suscipit&Itemid=61

    Any ideas?

EDIT: My bad, I put the all the all items under one group, now it functions.
