JA K2 Filter Package 1.0.9 (J3/2.5) not working properly with the latest K2 (2.6.7). For testing purposes I’ve K.2 2.6.4 with Package 1.0.3 and works fine. So I downgraded Filter version to 1.0.3. on my production site but the problem remains

My problem is that I have mess after searching, paths to fulltext on the test site are ok starting from K2 category, paths on the production starts from component value. Menu items are set at the same way on both sites. In new version the item ID was set in the module config.

Which K2 version did you test with JA K2 Filter 1.0.9?

    Hello Marliw,

We tested JA K2 Filter with K2 latest version 2.6.7
You can check on our demo here : http://demo.joomlart.com/joomla-extensions/

And please tell me more detail about your problem, it would be good if you can add a screenshot and URL of your site.

    Hello Luna,

It’s only a demo 🙂 I’ve got articles with intro and fulltext.
I expect that if an article has a path, because it’s an element of a category blog, when I choose this article from the result page I will get to the original path.

    — example from my production site (Filter 1.03/1.09/ K2 2.6.7) —
    proper path:
    website/menu/k2-category/item/title
path from page results (to fulltext)
    website/component/k2/item/title

    — example from my test site (Filter 1.03/ K2 2.6.4) —
    proper path:
    website/menu/k2-category/item/title
    path from page results:
    website/menu/k2-category/item/title

New version of he plugin is much better, but I noticed problem with page result. It’s always second after Home position – it’s ignoring order set in menu.

    Hi marliw,

The developer has checked this problem, and said that, link path like
    website/menu/k2-category/item/title
still works and it’s not a bug.
If you want Items in Result page to have Items like in Category list, you must create Menu item assigned to that Category.
For example, you have category structure like this:
    Category1
    — Sub Category 1
    — Sub Category 2
then if you set menu item show list from Category1, then the search link path for Category1 will be website/menu/k2-category/item/title, but for Sub Category 1 and Sub Category 2, it would be : website/component/k2/item/title

but if you set menu item show list from Sub Category 1, then the search link path will be: website/menu/k2-category/item/title
