How should we add placeholder text to the Filter by Extra Fields as it is on the Filter By Standard Fields
I mean that I need those gray texts in the fields like
Search… – Select Date -, Select Category, – Select Places -.

e.g. just added an extra field
[ K2 Field Type : date ]

And it is styled a bit odd with those black bold texts as like “from” and “to” before the Field.

Hi,

You can find change the language text from language/en-GB/en-GB.mod_jak2filter.ini file

SEARCH_BY_KEYWORD="Search..."
SELECT_DATE_RANGE="- Select date -"
SELECT_CATEGORY_FRONT="Select Category"
JA_K2_FROM="From"
JA_K2_TO="To"

Thank you Ninja,

It is fine but the behaviour is still not working like a “placeholder” text inside the field
It is styled a bit odd with those black bold texts as like “from” and “to” before the Field.

I checked from source code and the text only shows into placeholder as my screenshot

and it does not show the label before like from and to fields
