Hi Priya,

Kindly check the backend settings of JAK2 Extra fields Filter and Search module whether the ‘Auto Filter’ option is set to "YES" or "NO", if it’s enabled, the search button will not show.

Hi Priya,

In the same backend settings of this module, you will see the section Search Result Settings in which you can decide which menu item page, the search results will display and the theme also.

I tried it, but the search results show in a blank page with no design
I need it to show in a page with the site’s design
Can you tell me how to do that?

Hi Priya,

You can provide the credentials of your site i.e: Admin & FTP account so I will have a look.

Also tell me the menu item you want to show the search results.

You download it from this link https://sslvpn.tau.ac.il and install it
After it’s installed you enter the user end password
And it’s like you are inside our university campus
Now you will be able to enter the site’s admin

But in the search results the click on the speaker image is not opening in a light box as they open in the page before the search…

You can try with this tweak:

• Open file : modules/mod_jak2filter/assets/js/jak2filter.js

• Add

JCEMediaBox.init();

under

jak2Highlight(container, jQuery('.ja-k2filter input[name="searchword"]').val());

at line 310

Because now the light box is working fine from the search results
Just please tell me how to edit the search results to show 5 in 1 line?
Now it’s 3 in 1 line for some reason…

Yes i did.

You can configure in administrator -> JA K2 Filter configuration -> Search result item layout -> Columns for primary : 5
