Hi there,
I have submitted two support tickets to the Joomlart Support service and had no response.
I am new to Joomla and having real difficulty in making my site look like the demo site. I have used the document set for ‘make my site look like the demo site’ with the screen shots of backend setting etc, but these do not appear on my site even with all the settings matching.
Is there anybody who can help run me through step by step how to set this up? There are plenty of tutorials of how to then make the site look as I want, but I really want to have it set like the demo site and I can work from there.
Any help would be much appreciated! 🙂
many thanks,
Jacqui

June 18, 2012 at 12:45 pm #457849Please Download the Quick Start file from the Download section and then Install it , you will have the exact layout and content as the demo have. this is simple one can be done in minutes.
If you need to configure with your existing site, It would take hours to make it.
Now tell me, In which way can i help you ?

June 18, 2012 at 12:50 pm #457851Hi Chavan,
Thanks for your help.
I have downloaded the quick start option, and that is running on my site, but it doesn’t appear to have all the extensions etc running. It is a brand new site, so I’m not trying to configure it with an existing site.
I might try and reinstall the quickstart and see if that does anything! 🙂
Thank you!

June 18, 2012 at 1:01 pm #457853Ok, I’ll try that – just to check, if I’m reinstalling the quickstart file, can I use the ‘upload and install’ option from the extension manager? if not, what is the best way to do this?
I really appreciate your help with this! 🙂

June 18, 2012 at 1:06 pm #457854Delete the Entire Files and all tables in the database.
Then upload a New set of files into the server and go for Install the it.
Quick start files in Download section will have an inbuilt Joomla. If you find difficult share me your cpanel details in PM. I will install it for you.
