November 18, 2009 at 5:44 pm #324130Hi Arvind,
Thanks for the reply. I had checked the download section before but didn’t pay attention to the “version”, only looked at the date and thought it was the original download post ! :-).Could you also provide some recommendations on how we can upgrade to the new version. We are running this template on our live website and would like to upgrade with minimal interruption to the production site.
1) Can we just install the new template without removing the version 1.0 template?
2) I am guessing the fixes only address the template and not the included extensions. If there are fixes that also address extensions, how can we upgrade the extensions with minimal impact? Please advice. Thanks in advance for your help
Prashant

November 19, 2009 at 12:38 am #324158Dear Prashant,
If i was at your place, i would have updated the version this way :
1. Backup the old template folder to a safer place.
2. Uninstall the old version, install new version.
3. Replace the logo images and edited css files (to check the difference i would have used WinMerge to compare the two files). For updating modules :
1. Take screenshot of backend setting of the module.
2. Uninstall the module, Install the new version. Copy back the settings in the backend. It cant be easier than this, i presume. Taking backups before updating / upgrading is of immense importance, as it saves the trauma of being screwed up.

January 24, 2010 at 10:01 am #330200The “last updated” information is missing in this template and there is no way to make it appear in content articles. I think this is a bug and I would be grateful if this could be seen to.
