I used ja-labra quickstart to install the Labra website on a localhost for learning purposes. (I installed Wampserver first)
It all seems to be running OK with the one exception of the slides in the User5 module.

One other anomaly, during the Joomla installation on local host, the database section of the install went through OK even though I had not created the mysql database first?

Hi
On localhost,you don’t need to create database first, when you install, it will auto create database for you
But on server, you must create clean database first

Thanks very much for the quick response. It did seem that the database had been created on local host because the sample data was visible, but I’m still puzzled by the lack of the slides showing.
