Although a work in progress still (a few minor issues to get resolved yet), I like what I’ve done with JA Larix to build my sister a floral website.
Thanks to Joomla and JA, she’s ecstatic and I’m rather happy with it, too.
All suggestions are welcome! (If too complicated for me, I’ll ask you for help.) :p</blockquote>
Site looks great. What I like about joomla is the fact that you don’t have to be an expert to use it. Helps to level the playing field and save time in website development.

Hi thoughtprovoke,
I couldn’t agree with you more on both statements. That’s what I like about Joomla, too. Then JA comes along with a starting point beyond a basic template to customize away.
Thank you for dropping in and checking out the site. I appreciate it very much. You’ve made me smile. 🙂
My best,

August 15, 2009 at 4:13 am #314361Hi Sunrise,
I haven’t made the changes yet. I still plan to try them. I’m trying to resolve other issues after changing the categories. Thanks for checking!
And you, too . . . have a great weekend, thanks! 🙂

I think I would use something like #F0C2C8 or #ECB4BA for the menu and #DA727E for hover, or the other way around if you prefer. Then when you have the lightest colors on the menu, you could use the same red as the top, #DA727E or darker for the text. and use the lighter colors #F0C2C8 for the text during hover. If you (or your sister) like this idea you could do something similar to the other menu also.</blockquote>
Hi Sunrise,
I am trying this and would like you to check it out for me when you can, please? I am trying to find the code for that piece of dark grey at the end of the main menu on the right to change it but unable to locate it for now. I’ll keep looking.
What do you think. I am using ECB4BA and DA727E, I believe.
Hope you’re doing well. 🙂
