I am so frustrated right now so I hope someone can help. In JA News, Featured Product and JA Product Slider on the template, mine looks nothing like the template does. I’d like to have the boxes on JA News look like it does on the template (with heading and gray border around article heading, as well as 2 columns and 2 rows like the template) and I’d like the JA Product Slider to have each product to be aligned (center). I’m also not sure why the title keeps appearing below JANews on the Frontpage. Can someone please help with these issues? Everything is enabled even though the Featured products aren’t showing up. 🙁 Thank you very much.

I’m not able to do that because my host did the Joomla install and I’ve already added 65000 products 🙁

Did your host install the quickstart or just the Template and then Virtuemart? Templates like this have the extensions so well integrated that they are very difficult to get like the Demo unless you really know what you are doing.

Do you have a live URL?

I’d install a local Larix quickstart and compare settings of the two sites until you get somewhere close to what you are looking for.

Adding 000’s of products before you have everything else the way you want is a mistake.

That’s part of the problem…it WAS the way I wanted it. I don’t know what changed. 🙁 I had the whole front page looking the way I wanted it then started adding products and now it’s messed up.

The host did a regular 1.5 install. I do have a “live” (offline) URL.

I’ve also already installed a local version and have tried copying files back and forth which has just screwed up the situation more.

Try sending an email to premium support… include an admin password. Maybe they can help sort it out. If JA News is the only problem then I’d say it is just a configuration setting you are overlooking.

When I posted to the extensions area someone suggested going into the Ja-new.css file and editing the area that started with ja-news.cat but I don’t have that in my .css file and don’t know where it would go. Here’s the info…

This was fixed. Thanks for the help. The owner of the files (only in JANews) was 99 rather than the FTP owner. I uninstalled and tried to reinstall while the FTP info was in the Global Config but it wouldn’t let me. I ended up manually deleting and recopying the files then recreating the module manually.
