I’ve just installed this template, I have read your guide and I open and modified index.php
then I upload on the right remote folder but nothing change… I want to make cyan default
colour and exclude the possibility for the users to change it also i want transmenu but neither
of these things are applied when I upload new index.php to remote ?!

Update I cna’t understand why if in the index file the options are correct the output is still the same
( I’ve choose cyan as default color but the site color is still orange) ?!

JA_News not showing & seams to break the page..

I I disable the JA_News module the page is fine, so there has toi be something wrong with the module.
I downloaded the whole package yesterday.

Side colums not showing.

I Have this template working on Joomla 1.5 stable and VM 1.1.0 beta 2 nightly release.

It is almost working perfect in Legacy mode, which isn’t perfect in itself but its good enough.

This is what i did to make the ja_vm_browse.php work

I just copied the code from the standard browse_1.php template.

I have everything else working somewhere near perfect, except i still haven’t done the breadcrumbs yet or the product slider. Ill tackle that another day 🙂

Nice to see the clients are doing the job a commercial company who is being paid to do things should be doing.

Not sure, the source code looks like it is something of the template as there is nothing at all in there except the html header.

I have this template working perfect, but not with the slider product display on the home page.

But i set it up with a stable release of J1.5.1 and VM1.1RC1 then added the template out of the quick start files and did it all manually. I also couldn’t get the cart in the top right to work either.

Do a synchronise of the files to see if any are different or didn’t upload without you realising, what i would do now, is set up a sub directory of that website (or delete what you have, and start again), and upload the quick start zip file, click on expand in cpanel so all the files are definitely in the right place and there, then see if you can get that working.

I sure ive just told my granny how to suck eggs there though havent i lol?

After furder testing i see that the problem is in all joomla 1.5 versions of ja larix. IThe 1.0 version is exacly as the demo at joomlart but the 1.5 dont

Hi
I have found a slight problem with this template I think when you log in to the site from the front end and go to vm admin. it loads the vm admin page ok but some of its pages like add products is 3 times the width of the sreen. if you log in to the back end and go to the same pages then they are ok?
I am using joomla 1.5 with vm 1.1
any thoughts

Dear friends,

I’m testing the Ja_larix at a new website with J.1.5.3 and VM.1.1.0. The “ja_vm_browse.php”, don’t look nice. The red price (old) is in a bad position withoght the trace and the dot lines between the products are missing.

I never have any help from Joomlart team, it’s VERY different from the Rockettheme forum that you receive fast answers and can work fast.

Hi,

I did download and installed the ja_larix_quickstart_v1.2_1.5.3.zip. I did do that several times know but there is a difference between the demo version and the version I installed.
On the product detail page some components are missing like add to chart and quantity. I would appreciate it if this good be the same as in the demo version and working with IE7 and Mozilla.
