Unfortunately, this site is hosted on an internal network so I can’t really share with you but when I look at my page in IE8 the menu is and grid are displaying incorrectly. Any thought or theories of what it could be? Thanks for your help! see screenshot

May be you are wrong to config on JA Lens template of your site. Please try to download, reinstall with quickstart and sample data JA Lens Template
