Joomla V1.5
Module JA Login Form installed.

I want to redirect users to an installed component.

PROBLEM
I go to: ADMINISTRATOR > EXTENSIONS > MODULE MANAGER > JA LOGIN FORM
I change the LOGIN REDIRECTION URL to:
<blockquote>index.php?option=com_whatever</blockquote>

I get a blank page and notice the URL is:
<blockquote>index.php?Itemid=index.php%3Foption%3Dcom_whatever</blockquote>

SOLUTION
Create a menu item for your component.
An ITEMID number will be assigned.
Type only the ITEMID number in the LOGIN REDIRECTON URL

Works for me. YMMV.
