    Hy I want to make an optional language file for JA LOGIN module. Where can I find all the text to translate?

    Thanks!

    Hi

    The file is en-GB.mod_jalogin.ini in /language/en-GB

    Thanks, I’ve already edited that file, but there is not every field I want to translate.

    Please take a look at mi site login mod: http://200.110.132.11/~marmar/

    As you can see there is all mixed between english and spanish…

    I want to translate “login” access link, “login” and “remember me” buttons, in “crear una cuenta (register)” there are some words in english too… but I can’t find them in the .ini file.

    Thanks

    is it possible that all those lines are in default.php file in modules/mod_jalogin/tmpl ?

    yeah, that actually does the work…. but is there any way I can keep both languages? I mean, if I modify that file then I can`t change to english any more… any idea?

    Simply add the strings to your language file. The jText:: bit takes care of it.

    For instance we have the line

    <span><?php echo JText::_('MOD_LOGIN_REMEMBER_ME') ?></span>

    So iff we add to our language file

    MOD_LOGIN_REMEMBER_ME="Remember Me"

    You can translate it in your language variant.

    I will report this as a bug as it does seem some language strings are missing.

    another question… I don’t know why, but I can’t create accounts using the register form, the register button does nothing…. do you know why?

    I tried, reinstalling the module and the template files.. but nothing…

    thanks!

    Could you PM me an admin login so I can take a look? Please include a link to this thread in your PM.

    Thanks for your PM.

    I have taken a look and it appears you are using very outdates plugins, components and the template. Please use the JA Extension Manager to update your JAT3 Plugin, The JA Login module and your template. The bug you mention was fixed some time ago.

    I tried to update JA Slideshow2 Module and it gives me a red alert: Response from JoomlArt Updater Service: Your account does not have enough permission to take this action. Please contact “JoomlArt Updater Service” for more information or use another account.

    What’s that?

    It means you have to enter your account details to be able to update.

    On the left menu go into the services manager and edit the settings for the JA Updater Service. Put in your account details and you will be good to go.

    I will escalate this to the ticket system as am unsure why this is not working.

    Please update your ticket with a Super Admin account (the one you supplied before does not have full permissions) and an ftp account so we can look at this in more detail.
