I would like to have a JA Magazine template similar to http://magazine.joomla.org/ with a basic menu (Home, Topics, Contact, Subscribe, Authors, Issues, International, About) and a JA layout. I think that JA Newspaper’s layout could be the starting point to get rid a great diversity of information of a newspaper. In a magazine/journal we look just for documents on a given topics, read it, download it, purchase it. So it would be good to have one of the JA content management modules to place documents with different formats to be open (pdf, world, HTML). We are publishing a journal on PKP Open Journal System (OJS) to just receive submissions, review them, and after approval for publishing the issues would be publish in a Joomla site.
I would appreciate very much your understanding on this matter.

Hello Albert,

Some of our tempates that suits with magazine are: JA Nex, JA Teline IV. But for JA content management module as your specification, we do not have at the moment. You can look throught JED, you could find something helpful for you.

Yah. magazine.joomla really does look nice. JED is close but would be nice to have this developed.

Well in the mean time we have Drupal OpenPublish. I decided to install it but then I discovered a few TB Drupal Themes and installed TB Sirate. So it would good a TB OpenPublish package from Themebrain!
