Hello,
I have installed joomla 1.5.0. All the sample (installation) templates are working fine. I uploaded Ja Mageia (1.5) template succesfully, but immediately after setting this template as default I get the following error:
Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object in ../templates/ja_mageia/ja_menus/Base.class.php on line 30
How can I solve this?
I’m running PHP 4.4.1
Thanks in advance.

January 16, 2008 at 6:21 pm #236537Is anybody running this combination with it working?
I am currently using the older version of ja_mageia to get around this problem but I have other problems that may be because I don’t have the latest. For instance, the “Register” (ie submit) does not work on the create new account page. This means users can’t create new accounts on my site, they have to be done by the administrator.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks
January 23, 2008 at 4:06 pm #237027Overwrite templates/ja_mageia/ja_menus/Base.class.php with the same file from for example ja_drimia (template for Joomla 1.5 RC4). Then it works.
I tested it with Joomla 1.5 stable.
Cheers.

January 24, 2008 at 7:37 pm #237107burg, that worked. Thanks!
April 18, 2009 at 2:50 am #301749I am getting a similar error but this one is “Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /templates/ja_mageia/ja_menus/Base.class.php on line 46”
Overwriting the file like the above suggested did nothing but move the problem down from line 40 to line 46. Any ideas on what could be causing this?
Joomla version 1.5.9, newest available Mageia template.
April 20, 2009 at 4:34 pm #301987Bump… Same issue here. I had a Base.clase.php on line 40 error. I replaced the Base.clase.php file with the one from Drimia. The error moved from line 40 to line 46.
Thanks,
