Hello,

I’m using JA Magz on Joomla 2.5 with K2. I want to use the Menu Item Type “Magz Media Blog” with K2 Items. Is there any way to accomplish that? Maybe you can point me to a good tutorial o documentation.

The only thing I want to do is to change the DataBase query so instead Joomla Articles, it returns K2 Items.

Hi @carlosgarciarayo,

I’m afraid that we cannot assist you in this task since it requires lots of changes and you might need to hire an expert to do the work for you instead.

For your information, if you navigate to folder roottemplatesja_magzhtmlcom_contentcategory you will see 2 files to implement this type are magz.xml and magz.php.

To implement the same type for K2, you will have to create output overrides for K2, more detail about this process can be found here and here.
