    Hi JA,

I just installed the quickpack and notice that:

    – JA Comments doesn’t work. It never did before in the older quickpacks and still doesn’t.

    – JA Maps isn’t included in the plugins.

    – All of the Safari/Mac bugs are still there. Hope they will be solved soon. I also would appreciate an update set to overwrite the older files only. Not again the whole pack to be installed.

    Thanks!
    Tom

    Hi Tom,

    1. JA Comment >> I will have to check the issue.

    2. JA Maps was released last year as JAEC. So its not available as part of the template.

    3. Help me get the mac issues together, so that i can follow them up.

    4. Updates are easier now mate. You should try JA Extension Manager, you can watch the video to see how easy it is to upgrade the versions for any of the JA product, be it template / component / module / plugin.

    5. You can always login to http://update.joomlart.com (your forum login works). and compare the file change between the versions, you can just replace the updated files.

example : go to >> http://update.joomlart.com/#products.list//JA%20Community%20Plus/ << choose from dropdown for comparison. >> You can see comparison >> http://update.joomlart.com/#compare/ja_community_plus_j15/1.1.0/1.0.0

Click on compare (if its a css / php file)… it will ask for login, use from login. and you can see the very line of difference.

the system is in place since ages now. You get the same features in the JA Extension Manager too.

    6. JA Would not be releasing the upgrade patches, as you wish for. Its not practical and with the current system in place, it would be waste of man hours.

Paste back links about the mac issues, i will forward to developer for fix.

Oh and the two colors missing are already in the svn and would be out in a day or two after testing.

    Regards

    Arvind

Please be aware that JA Comments is also a JAEC component which requires a separate download.
