    Hi everyone,

I am working on a website, and can’t seem to figure out how the JA Masshead works. I want it to look like in the demo:

    – font size = 43px
    – colour = white
    – blue band hight = 100px

    What I have currently:

    – font size = 19.5px
    – text colour = black
    – blue band hight = 140px

The only thing I did to get the JA Masshead working is publishing it on position 1. Whatever else I tried did not result in anything better as what I currently have.

Also, I have two titles. The one of the article and the one in the JA Masshead. One should be sufficient.

Hope anyone can help me out. Thanks in advance 🙂

    Hi,

Did you follow our userguide of this template: http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/user-guide-ja-brisk-template-for-joomla-2-5/? and check out guide for JA Masshead module. As demo site of this JA Brisk template, this module should be assigned to masshead position.

If you have difficulty in changing font, colour, please set Compress CSS in template manager to No and post your site url here, I shall help you.

    Thank you!

When selecting “masshead” as position, it suddenly worked. Nothing else was needed. I tried this before, and only a small blue line appeared under the menu.

    Anyways, it works 🙂

Glad to hear that and let me know if I can be of further assistance.

    Best Regards

I have a small question related to the JA Masshead. The JA Masshead shows the title of the article. However, the title of the article is shown again below the JA Masshead. Selecting “hide” at “show title” within the Article Manager did not solve the problem unfortunately. Any suggestions? 🙂

You could try to go to the menu item which that article is assigned to. Then set ‘Show title’ and ‘Show author’ to ‘Hide’.

For instance, I want to hide the title of article ‘Typography’ (like the demo site), I go to menu item name ‘Typo’ and change in Article Options: http://easycaptures.com/fs/uploaded/509/8144440034.png

    Hope this helps.
