    Hi Guys,

I seem to have run into a little problem with JA masshead.

GOAL: different masshead images/desciption on categories AND sub-categories. The sub-categories is where i ran into problems qith just using the page-id. (when you click on the left positioned categories (any of them) it uses the default 508 itemid instead of the 589 id.

Took a look at the user guide to understand the additional parameters that can be set. additional values like view and option and on.

    So i have this url:

    http://kiddiesart.tlwebdesign.nl/index.php?option=com_jshopping&controller=category&task=view&category_id=13&manufacturer_id=&label_id=&vendor_id=&page=&Itemid=589

    and this config:

    [Masshead option=”com_jshopping” category_id=”13,14,15,16,17,18,19,20″ title=”Kraamcadeaus” background=”images/stories/masshead/header-kraamcadeaus.jpg”]Wij hebben een divers assortiment in kraamcadeaus[/Masshead]

and for the category named Kiddies

    [Masshead option=”com_jshopping” category_id=”24″ title=”Kiddies” background=”images/stories/masshead/header-kiddies.png”]KiddiesArt heeft een eigen collectie personen genaamd Kiddies![/Masshead]

So now it worked i thought because it showed up on category_id. But yeah it shows up on every com_jshopping page! haha. and that wasnt what i needed. lol. So now i’m kinda in the dark on this one.

I probably did something wrong, as usual but still i cant seem to figure out how to get this to work.

    Any help greatly appreciated!!!!

    Thank u guys!

I think all the id numbers have to be joomla id numbers not a component id number; e.g even within joomshopping itself you have to use the joomla id number for users not internal ones.

I have no idea how you find the joomla id for component internals but this would be a great feature on Tiris to have the masshead change for each category!

any thoughts on this from admins / developers?
