Here is the instructions…
The configuration field use 2 format:
Format 1: [Masshead option=”com_name” view=”view_name” layout=”layout_name” task=”task_name” id=”id” title=”Title” ]Description here[/Masshead]
Format 2: [Masshead Itemid=”page_id_1,page_id_2,…” title=”Title” ]Description here[/Masshead]Here is the sample code…
<blockquote>[Masshead Itemid=”238″ title=”Explore” background=”images/stories/masshead/mh-5.jpg”]View all featured of the template.[/Masshead][Masshead Itemid=”294″ title=”Joomla!” background=”images/stories/masshead/mh-1.jpg”]Content Management System[/Masshead]</blockquote>
How do I identify where to find the “238” & “294” in the new categories I have created?
Please explain the code sample in more detail so I can modify it and find the variables.
If the code looked something like this I could would know what to do
category_id=3&Itemid=508
that’s what the URL shows.
Thanks,

January 12, 2012 at 7:56 pm #433609You just use the item ID 508. You get this from the menu ID.
Hope that helps
January 12, 2012 at 7:59 pm #433612I want to have a different picture for each product category. So here are the identifiers that I can see.
category_id=3&Itemid=508
category_id=11&Itemid=508
category_id=2&Itemid=508
category_id=1&Itemid=508
508 would use the same image for all…
Thanks

January 12, 2012 at 8:04 pm #433614508 is joomshopping and as far as I know you cannot change the picture for each category. There is another thread here in Tiris where someone else asked. Would be cool I admit.
Sorry!

January 12, 2012 at 8:08 pm #433615Thinking about this and I haven’t tried, if you put categories into a sub menu under the shop menu then you would get an ID for that category. Whether it would only work when you clicked via the sub menu I don’t know.
You could try that and If that works would you post back so that I and others know please?
Merci!
