Hi I have just installed JA Megafilter. [JA Mega Filter Component, Module and JA Megafilter Joomla extra fields plugin] all are published.

The Filter is to be used for content search.

I need to create custom fields but can’t see how to do this in the documentation.
I installed the JA Megafilter Joomla extra fields plugin

Hi,

Here are the steps to create Filter: https://www.joomlart.com/documentation/joomla-component/ja-megafilter#create-filter

1. Go to backend >> compoent JA Megafilter >> Create a Filter Page, set Publish to Yes

2. Go to backend Menu >> create new Menu type MegaFilter, in ID, choose the Filter that you create above.

->> Go to Front end, navigate to Menu item you create in step 2.

Thank you for your reply Luna,

When I create a New Filter I do not get the option to create custom fields which is one of the main reasons that I purchased and downloaded the extension. (I have attached an image capture of what I get when creating a new Filter)

Also I would like the format of the filter on left and results on right as per the document sample shown here

Looks like your megafilter component is missing some files. Can you reinstall it?

If not, please prove us the site admin info to check deeper
