I have attached jQuery to my layout .xml.

<scripts>
<file>js/jquery-1.5.2.min.js</file>
</scripts>

But “Ja Menu” has stoped working after that. If I remove it “Ja Menu” returns to normally again.

What’s happening?

Joomla usees mootools as does the megamenu. If you wish you use jquery then you will have to research the jquery no-conflict mode.
