    Hello there!

    If you see this is not looking good!
    If you use Mercury template and resize your window so you get sidebars… when you scroll to the part of window that is hidden you see that the heading is cut!
    Is there anyone that have a fix for this?

    See my attached picture:

    Later same afternoon I solved it for Firefox… but still sam problem in Explorer… the fix in firefox I did this way:
    In the css i put min-width to be same size as the biggest width in the template!

    /* COMMON STYLE
    ——————————————————— */
    body {
    color: #333333;
    background: #FFFFFF;
    min-width:990px;
    }

    I want to have a banner display at the top of the site. I know about embedding the command:

    <?php mosLoadModules(‘banner’,-2)?>

    What is the “-2” for and also how can I get it to display aligned with the logo?

    Thanks!

    Hello folks!

    I’m pretty new to Joomla, but I used some other CMS’s before, so I’m finding it pretty amusing. Once I reached JoomlArt site I was amazed by the quality of the templates. Just great!

    Then, I downloaded Mercury to give it a try, and of course, I love it. But now I have a problem. I have a multi-language website going on and I had previously installed Joom!Fish to manage that. It was working fine with the default template, but It’s not with Mercury.

    There’s anyway to make it work? If not with Joom!Fish, with another plug-in?

    Thanks in advance!

    Much love, Matheus

    min-width:990px;
    width:auto !important;
    width:990px;}
    }

    Hi everybody
    Problem view in I.E 6 : the content position is after below the left column.
    http://s197792970.onlinehome.fr/Tourves_village/
    Then : index.php : I’ve deleted the class clearfix (own comments in the page).
    Result = position content in mainbody is allright now EXCEPT for the Main Menu (menu Accueil in french).
    Who’s someone can help me ?
    Plus, all background img are obscure.

    Note : i work with a iMac G5 & we don’t have a recent I.E.
    I have a very old PC Windows 98 & I.E 6 for control, when i try to download a page from the main menu, it stop download over 38% !? For all other menus it seems OK.
    Thank you for your help
    Have a good day

    Don’t know how to explain this, but unless I change the width (either from narrow to wide or wide to narrow), the bottom get’s cut off. It appears fine when I manually change the width on the site, but I don’t want my visitors to have to do that.

    Please see pictures.

    Your post is very ambiguous Joe, could mean 100 different things, are you wanting to just insert a flash animation to the header position of the template?

    Are you wanting to add a 3rd party flash banner rotator to the header position?

    Are you trying to use JA header module from one of the latest templates on offer to the header position
    I could go on for some time 🙂

    Please be clear on just what you are trying to achieve and what if any 3rd party extras you may be using to achieve it

    Cheers ShannonN

    I’m having an issue with JCal Pro and the transparent menus in Internet Explorer 7 (no problem in Firefox). The menus work well for all the other pages on my site (http://www.metroalliance.net), but there seems to be some sort of clash between the JCAL code and the template: there is a large gap between the top and the content (see attached images). Any thoughts? (i can’t force everyone to use firefox, much as i would like to…)

    If you know the Jcal conflicts remove the Jcal, you can’t expect every 3rd party extension to work?
    Try ExtCal instead?
