I’m using Mega Menu in JA Mezolite II with Banner Rotator FX installed.
Problem: drop down menu is behind my flash in Opera (in Mozilla all is OK).
What do i need to do to get the menu to slide down above the flash.
I tried changing z-index on the sub nav bar from z-index to 9999… but that did not work… perhaps the z-index should be adjusted elsewhere?
My index file of Banner Rotator is:
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC “-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN” “http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd”>
<html xmlns=”http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml” lang=”en” xml:lang=”en”>
<head>
<title></title>
<meta http-equiv=”Content-Type” content=”text/html; charset=utf-8″ />
<script type=”text/javascript” src=”swfobject.js”></script>
<script type=”text/javascript”>
var flashvars = {};
flashvars.settingsXML = “settings.xml”;
var params = {};
params.scale = “noscale”;
params.salign = “tl”;
params.wmode = “transparent”;
var attributes = {};
swfobject.embedSWF(“banner.swf”, “BannerDiv”, “750”, “340”, “9.0.0”, false, flashvars, params, attributes);
</script>
</head>
<body>
<div id=”BannerDiv”>
<a href=”http://www.adobe.com/go/getflashplayer”>
<img src=”http://www.adobe.com/images/shared/download_buttons/get_flash_player.gif” alt=”Get Adobe Flash player” />
</a>
</div>
</body>
</html>Help me pls

July 27, 2010 at 4:35 am #350817i think that the javacript code using for rendering the flash, they are not working well, please try to contact with developers from the Banner Rotator FX extension to find a best solution
[PHP]
params.wmode = “transparent”; // is not working

And in another browsers all is ok. For example, IE8 or Mozilla

Hi
i used joomla simple image holder for holding the flash.I changed the flash mode(WMode) to transparent in the module manager settings.
If you are using any other module, just give the param value WMode to transparent.
