    Greetings.

Our current JA Mitius T3 version is 2.1.2 yet it still says (Congrats! You are using latest version of T3 Framework!) it doesn’t seem to see the The T3 Framework update to V 2.3.1. how can I fix this?

    Thank you

    Hi there,

Could you please post here a screenshot with the “Congrats! You are using latest version of T3 Framework!” message?

I’ve just successfully updated T3 System plug-in from v.2.0.2 to 2.3.1 on my “JA Mitius Quick Start” for Joomla 3.2.2 sandbox and the new version gets picked up and displayed in Joomla extensions manager.

Feel free to PM me your Joomla backend Super User credentials to have a look around your system.

    Regards,

    Alex

I have updated T3 manually and that worked fine.
I can now see the template picked up in the extension update page. but it says version 1.0.8 and when I try to update it I get “Error Invalid extension update”
In the Template Manager though it still says Congrats for JA Mitius 1.0.8 and doesn’t seem to pick up the latest version.

I installed the template update manually on a test site, that deleted all the custom positions, blocks and the custom CSS file.

How do I instal the update manually without loosing edited files or preferably how do I fix the update not being picked up by the template manager?
    Thank you

That error occurs when you update our template via Joomla update service. With our JA Product, we recommend you to use our JA Extension Manager component to check and update, the default joomla update service is used for free extension only.

And sometime joomla update service still cache the info of old version so that it still notice update message. You can get rid of it by follow tips in this documentation: http://www.joomlart.com/documentation/wiki-ja-extension-manager/how-to#Known_issues

    Hello

When I tried to update the template using JA Extension manager I got the following message.

Response from JoomlArt Updater Service: Your account does not have enough permission to take this action. Please contact “JoomlArt Updater Service” for more information or use another account.

I managed to upgrade it using local files however.

I still loose all my overrides and custom positions. is there a workaround to avoid that?

    Thank you

Make sure that you add your JoomlArt membership information in Services manager of JAEM component.

We’ve recently implemented a new feature in T3 framework – add a new local folder where you can add your custom work there (override layout, less, etc… Check out this tip for more info: http://t3-framework.org/documentation/new-features#isolate-template
