December 10, 2007 at 3:55 am #124302Moving right along.. I am confused and going in circles.
In the module positions, it lists all these positions, including this user 5.
However, in the site modules, it stops at 4. I somehow by creating a new module was able to get a user 5, however nothing published to that module shows up on the first page.
Its just not sinking in.
Can someone please explain it to me in Moo Tabs for Dummies speak.
Thanks much,

December 10, 2007 at 7:06 am #234283Hmmm,you should have up to user9 original?
Which joomla version do you use?
For use of the mootabs you just need to assign the modules you wanna use to user5 position and set the title to showKhanh Le ModeratorKhanh Le

December 10, 2007 at 7:19 am #234285In each module, you could see a parameter name “Module position”. Select user5 to modules to position user5.

December 10, 2007 at 3:16 pm #234312It looks like you have plenty of module positions to use.
I found that I was having trouble when I first got the USER5 module to start working but then everything just clicked into place.
I started by just copying a module any module will do.
(to copy a module click the cicle on the left of the module name and press copy at the top of the page)open your copied module and in the edit screen put some text in it …….just type test or something and name the module test1 and make sure you have the SHOW TITLED ticked in the yes place.
Now lets do that all over again another twice so we have three modules TEST1 TEST2 & TEST 3 all have titles showing all are set for USER5
Now lets send them to a page where you have nothing published in the left or right positions.(we will do this just to check things are ok……
If you get this far let me know :p

December 10, 2007 at 5:50 pm #234320mfcphil,
I think I got that far..but I took what I understood you to be saying…at least I think what you were saying…and got it to appear on the front page…. woo hoo… I also did reinstall joomla and the template too….prior to doing that….
So thanks again for the assistance…. It is just such a different way of doing things for me…
Until the next obstacle…
