Let me first answer the required information.
http://www.chefdude.com
Basic Modules and Mambots
Rapid Recipe Suite, and Frontpage Slideshow
Joomla1.1.3
No mods to templateI am using JA Fargus, (great template for my needs) any way in user5 postion JA MOOTABS is hard coded there and that postion is not avalible for use by any other module, at least this is the way is seems.
Option one can you give me the code that I can use to remove mootabs so that I can use it as a normal module spot, I have purchased Frontpage Slide Show and think that would better serve my needs there.
Thanks much
Rick
February 6, 2008 at 10:37 pm #238408I am sorry about the blank page I miss typed my website URL, its http://www.chefdude.com.
How ever something tells me you totally missed my actual question and dilemma.
The Dilemma; I am trying to figure out how to use JA MOOTABS that is hard coded to the USER5 Position. I cannot find any instructions or documentation on it or it is very hard to find any way.
The Question, since USER5 is hard coded for the JA MOOTABS it cannot be used for any thing else.
So I either need to figure out set up MooTabs or I would like the option of converting this module position so that I can use it, since it sits dead smack in the middle of the template it is the main reason I selected this template to use, I would rather be able to use FrontPage Slide Show in this spot anyway.
Any advice you may have would be greatly appreciated.
AS AN UPDATE; I have created dummy modules and placed them into user5 postion and made sure that I am selecting “show title” and noting is showing up in that postion.

February 7, 2008 at 4:01 pm #238486OK lets get your user5 position showing up on your web site.
Step 1.
Copy a module…anything you can put text in.
Put in some text or images in the text area and save it.
Assign it to user 5
set show title to Yes
set to homepage
Publish it.Step 2
Repeat step 1
Step 3
Repeat step 1
you now have three modules set to user 5 you should now see them on your home page.
Try this and see how you get on:)

As I said in My Post I have allready done that and the module is NOT showing up, Every thing is published as it should be and I have the titles set to show as it should be, the page is reacting like there is a module there but nothing is showing up.
My main consern is that I find a sloution for this, quickly.
rs.sales@yahoo.com if this will speed the process up. I can also issue log in info to aproved joomlart devs.
