Hi there,

After transferring my files to a new server,(nothing changes) the ja-news module started problems with turkish special characters. What’s interesting is that there is no problem with the first news slide, but as soon as the next slide is loaded, the characters mess up.

I have already changed headlineloader.php under the folder ja_news and mod_janews.php like this;

$current_charset = isset($charset) ? $charset : “ISO-8859-1”;

how can I fix this ?

I have the same problem. (Ja-News 1.2 beta)

First slide loads correctly, but next, and every other after that one come out with messed up special characters.

I’m using croatian charset, and works fine in every other part of the template, just in flash header makes trouble.

I would appreciate if you could fix that bug.

p.s. could it be related to server or hosting company’s settings? (cause at first hosting firm it worked fine, but at new place it doesn’t)
