hi all,
I set “Show unauthorized links” to show “read more” and restrict some articles of some categories only to registered users. It works in the categories menu, but not in JA News and JA News Frontpage.
How can I do?

I want that a guest user see a link, a chunk of article, the link “read more”, and a registered user see all.

the same problem is with JA Bullettin.

Pls open the file modulesmod_janews2helper.php and find the following code:
[PHP]
! $contentConfig->get ( ‘shownoauth’ );
[/PHP]

and replace:
[PHP]
$contentConfig->get ( ‘shownoauth’ );
[/PHP]

It works!
I modified also line 202 and other two lines at the same manner.

It works with the same mod also in ja_bullettin

Have you idea how to do this for ja_newticker?

yes, you try to find this code in the ja stiker module or any modules from joomlart 🙂 working with content component
