I’m not sure if I understand the settings for this module…

Is there a way to limit the total number of items on the home page?
Where it says Limit number of headline news.. the default is 10 but when I change it … it doesn’t seem to do anything.

I installed with quickinstall and am using the JA News 1.1.1 with Teline template.

eventive – you can specify the # of categories being presented on teh home page in the configuration for ja_news. Simply specify which category #s youw ant on the home page in the “Category ID” form field. Separate each category # with a comma. for example “23, 24, 33, 25, 34”

I understand the category part but how do you limit how many articles per category are listed?

Those are called Linked Items in the JA News Module under Parameters.
