Hi!!
I am working with the ja news in the Teline template and I am trying to do some modifications to the Ja News module.
First in the index page, I don’t want that the category description appear as an “alt” in the category name, as you will see I the picture1.
Also, I would like that in the index page the ja news shows the article but not the fist line on it. Picture2.

If someone could help me, I will appreciate

Hi irmaar !
you can remove alt for article title by way below :
Open mod_janews.php file in modules/mod_janews folder, find following code line at about line 228 :


echo "<a href="$link" class="ja-newstitle" title="".($showintro ? $row->title : $row->introtext1)."">{$row->title}</a>n";


remove red text.

do you use some plugin for content ? i have check code in ja news module , there isn’t code for generate this source , it seems be generated by a plugin . if posible, please send admin account via pm , i will check it for you !
