I load up my home page which includes JA News and JA Frontpage and everything is OK. Sometimes when I refresh it or I go to another page and then back to home it appears not to load the css files and the articles are not formatted.

    I can get around it by disabling JA News and then enabling it again. I get the problem on both my PC and laptop so it doesn’t seem to be a machine problem.

    I’m using Firefox.

    I’ve now just found that the home page is not rendering on IE8 or Safari – they work fine if I disable JA News and JA Frontpage!

    IE8 shows error line 1 character 1 – <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC “-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN” “http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd”>

    Error line 1396 – character 71 <div class=”ja-zincontent clearfix”>

    Any ideas?

    now, let me fixing this issue:
    1)open the file: modules/mod_janews2/helper.php

    2) find code;
$row->introtext = trim ( $row->introtext );
replace:
$row->introtext = strip_tags (trim ( $row->introtext ) );
