Hi,
I’m still using Joomla 1.5.4 and Teline II 1.4 version. I configured as shown on the user guide but still i could not see the News and News Frontpage modules. Is there any other special configuration neeeded. Please help.

Hainn,
I want to implement this in live site before that i want to make sure that everything works fine… So i do not have a URL where you can check this. Also i would like to add… i have used the JA News component and i was able to use that successfully. But the JA News that comes with Teline II does not work for me.

I do not know how you installed it ramsnith,

What I did was start with the Joomla 1.5.3-JA Teline II QuickStart Kit, the actual installation stage itself was about 10 minutes. And, it showed exactly as the Demo.

Then I did an upgrade from Joomla 1.5.3 => 1.5.4, by uploading the patch.

Before I have started moving things around, it looks like the Demo plus the fixes.

Right now, I am using it mainly to “trigger errors” to see whether some of the fixes work and where they don’t.

I am documenting my observations here:

Fixes: from the changelog of JA Teline II v1.4

I am using the site also to test some of the work arounds that we developed in the Forum.

I have started changing the Magazine menu also, and unpublished most of the Sections in the Demo, so many are empty right now.
