Hi,
I have a big problem with ja news and ja news fp modules. When I put an image into an article the image is not shown on the fronpage.I found out, that the resized image in the folder images/resized/images/stories have the CHMOD 0600 instead of 0644. When I manually change the CHMOD to 0644 the image is shown correctly.
Haw can I solve the problem??

November 3, 2008 at 4:26 am #277850Hi jana1 !
Please change images folder and sub folder on it to “755” or “777”, it will solve the problem.November 4, 2008 at 6:53 am #277994Hi hainn84,
unfortunately it doesn’t help.
The folder has CHMOD 777 but the pictures that are resized by ja news fp have still the CHMOD 600.Any other solutions??

November 6, 2008 at 10:00 am #278283think its an owner problem.
a file which is uploaded by FTP is the owner “ftp”
a file which is uploaded by sript (php) is owner “nobody” or “wwwrun”Joomla has an ftp layer, the modules (sripts) need to use this ftp layer.
am I right?
if i use joomla media manager with ftp layer -> file owner “ftp”
so a script can be owner “ftp”. If the owner is “ftp” no one gets a problem.November 6, 2008 at 7:17 pm #278344<blockquote>think its an owner problem.

November 7, 2008 at 9:24 am #278418I think the module needs to use ftp layer functions from joomla. JA-Stuff need to change code. Is only a guess.
Think it is possible cause core components/modules/plugins can do it tooNovember 7, 2008 at 11:41 am #278437<blockquote>I think the module needs to use ftp layer functions from joomla. JA-Stuff need to change code. Is only a guess.

So, I hope the developer team of Ja_Rutile notice this problem and solve it.
I don’t want to lose my client because of this problem.
