January 25, 2009 at 11:49 pm #137499Hi all,
I have installed joomla 1.5 and ja vauxite template.
my problem is that i want to display in JA NEWS boxes the content from another component not from default joomla sections and categories.
If you know about joomsuite resources, is a powerfull component which allow you to create custom content and to organize in sections/categories. Actually there are only sections with unique ID’s… so i want that my JA NEWS module to load the content from that sections(NOT joomla default sections/categories) depending the id which i’m writting in ‘Category (Section) ID’ in the module properties. Thanks,

January 26, 2009 at 8:45 am #288209Have you asked the same question in the JoomSuite Forum or submitted a support ticket there? Otherwise member QuestBG also uses JoomSuite Components, maybe he knows more about it….;)

January 26, 2009 at 9:57 am #288219Hi.
i don’t know php and stuff.. but i am thinking that what we need to change in ja news is to change the pathway.. instead of loading content from ‘ Content/Section/Categories ‘ (using catid, scripts and everything not the way i wrote) to load from ‘Components/Joomsuite Content/Section’.
I will ask on their forum also (i browse it and i didn’t find anything) but because you build the module is easy for you to know where to change the loading path 😉
bye

January 26, 2009 at 12:20 pm #288257Hi Rogy
I do use JoomSuite extensions, but not JS Resources.
You could e-mail the JoomSuite CEO directly, he has always responded to my questions, even before I became a client.
All Skype, e-mail, MSN and telephone information here:
http://joomsuite.com/index.php?option=com_resource&view=list&category_id=1&Itemid=3I hope you find a fix for this.

Rogy</blockquote> This you may ask the Joomlart.com support directly, you can submit a ticket to the support team and they may tell you more about it. Unless some other member has the same customization issues, the ones who built the modules are always Joomlart.com directly.:)rogydj Friendrogydj

February 8, 2009 at 11:10 am #290103I talk with Sergey (the CEO) of Joomsuite but he said that the modification must be done inside the module.. not in the joomsuite resource component… and this is kind o logical 🙂 so i neeed HELP..someone from joomlart team can provide me an answer pls!!!??!
