EDIT: sorry for my multiple post on the same problem. i had a browser problem …

    hi everybody,

with the help of the forum I could solve my first problem. unfortunaetly thre are two more issues, which drive me crazy.

    ja-news on every page
please have a look at my testsite. when clikcing at one of the articles offered by ja-news, the article opens correctly, but the whole ja-news module appears below the content.

    pathway not working
this might be the key. the path remains “home” for every article you click offered by ja-news. the pathway works fine for every other content “outside” of ja-news.

puh – may I ask for a bit of your time and a quick look? I know taht some people here had a similar problem with ja-news, but they did not post their solution. so i have searched the forum, but without any result.

again, thank you very much for your help.

    greetings oliver

p.s. i have followed the installation guide for ja-news. i guess all parameters are set correctly. I did not chance the index.php – at least not that part.

Just specify the “Home” in the Pages/Items parameters of JA News module to display it in Homepage only.

You need add a menu item point to the section containing your news to display the pathway.

    hello hung dinh,

thank you very much for your reply. i understood your hint regarding the path. when i call a content-page from a menu-item the pathway will be displayed properly. my problem is, that the pathway won’t be displayed, when i click on the same article (title or read more) inside ja-news.

the ja-news parameters (Pages / Items) are set to “mainmenu | home”. In spite of this, it is displayed on every page.
