Hi,
I use JA News for my categories on this siteThe modules in question are the box on the right hand side (JA News in JA Tabs), and three of the four along the bottom. The problem I have is with the category title links that are inside the coloured boxes – i.e ‘Celfyddydau’ ‘Adolygiadau’ and ‘Erthyglau’ along the bottom.
Inside the JA News Module manager, I have set the “Show Category (Section) title” radio button to hide, yet JA News is still displaying the titles. But the real problem is that these titles are clickable, but they are dead links. If you click on them, they give you a 404 error.
Please can someone help me?
July 27, 2008 at 8:31 pm #262589I have a similar problem.
My JA News insist on putting /component/content/category/ in front of index.php link, while the menu links to index.php/thecategoryname.
Ex:
Can I change the codes to make it work?

August 4, 2008 at 7:13 am #263697Hi all !
I have checked dyfrigj’s site : http://cylchgrawnbarn.info/ .
and detect 2 problems :
#1 : red text obove category name is module title , it isn’t categories so , please go to admin >> extensions >> module manager >> select user6,user7,user8,user9 and set title of it to “hide”
#2 : About link of category name :
there is strange in that link :
http://cylchgrawnbarn.info/index.php?option=com_content&view=category&id=celfyddydau&layout=blog&Itemid=54
The category id must be number , in this case , it gets category name so it causes 404 error.
dyfrigj ! Please send admin account of your site , i want to look into your it to detect the problem !August 4, 2008 at 7:23 am #263702<em>@hainn84 71393 wrote:</em><blockquote>Hi all !

August 7, 2008 at 8:03 am #264275Hi dyfrigj !
Please check , it is ok now .August 10, 2008 at 3:10 pm #264778Hi,
Sorry, but it isn’t quite right. The header now links to the article, rather than the category itself. I want it so that when you click on the red box, it links to the category or section named in the box. Can this be changed?
DyfrigAugust 14, 2008 at 11:50 am #265353Hainn,
Please can you help me. The changes you have made to my site has caused huge problems, and I cannot resolve them myself. I need this done as soon as possible. Please e-mail me for details.
