    Hi,

Having used the JA news module for so long I thought maybe it is time to switch to the JA News Component.

    1. Can JA News component behave like JA News module, so that instead of sections being picked for frontpage, we can pick categories?

    2. Can JA news component publish categories in a setting where there is 1 leading story with 200×200 pixel image and the following stories use thumbnails of 100×100 pixels… similar to the Teline 2 as in this demo page

    http://template15.joomlart.com/ja_teline_ii/index.php?option=com_content&view=section&layout=blog&id=13&Itemid=197

    Thank you

    Dear Hung Dinh,

Can you elaborate the different layouts? I am after the Taline 2 layout, and I do not know if switching to the component is worth it?

From your demo site, there are no parameters I could find for selecting categories that will appear on the frontpage. Categories are displayed inside sections ie

    Is that correct?
