ayecapn;13054so the problem got solved, but not explained. I am trying to use ja-news with Bellatrix, and I cannot get the normal content area to diappear. The news module appears under it.
Also there are 2 columns, but only one article is displaying…

Like we discussed JA are working on releasing a lot of extensions that will not be restricted to one kind of template, That is, it will integrate with all of the JA templates easily
It may prove wise to put of the conversion using the built in one from Wistery etc till the standalone becomes available?
however the advice given to the poster that solved it himself was the follow the guide, it must’ve helped solve it
Please follow the Userguide of the template you want to use JA News.
FYI: Not all templates go with JA News
