Hello I use in JA News Featured and I dont want guests to see the articles for registered users, but only when somebody log in to the site will have the oportunity to read them. Now this module shows ALL the articles, and when a guest click on a “private” article redirects to the 403 error page, you can see our site here and if you want to test it, click the image which write download.

Hi,

I couldn’t reproduce and i think i understand your problem! If you are testing this yourself on the same computer you need to clear your browsers cache to make sure you see what an unregistered user sees, otherwise you see some of your cache and when you try to click on the article that needs registered privileges you get an error.

No my cache of browser and site is cleaned you can see the image on what you should click to see that error. My problem is that I dont want to see guests that articles (and all the private articles), I want to be seen only when a user log in to my site.

Hi there,

I found the solution to this. Because user ID: 62 was deleted and item needs Author loading on K2 article. I have updated it

Go to Admin->K2 Component-> Edit item-> “Λήψη Βίντεο από YouTube & Facebook” item article and change Author “Κατερίνα Παπαγιάννη”

Please check this link again: http://www.expertakia.gr/index.php/component/k2/item/179-download-videos-youtube and apply to other items missing the Author

Hi, and thnx for the reply! Ok yes I fixed the author, the articles dont load in public view BUT they should load in register view right? That not happened, when I view it as a guest and when I view as a resitered user the “private” articles dont load…

I want the registered users (when they log in) to see the articles that are available for them. In other words, i want this module to show
also the articles with register permissions ONLY when a user log in. Is this possible?

Module will display articles which can be viewed by user. In the registration case, after login, module will display articles which is published and registered access feature.

I checked your site and find not found any problems as you said. You should config show 10 instead 3 articles for test

I config to show 16 articles for now just to check, I also have made an article called test and I have put it in a registered category and the module doesnt show it, go to our page log in and you wont see this article in that module :((
