I wish to set up a JA News for each unique category.

JA News in frontpage shows in front page.
Then i want to set up JA News in each category to display local news only that WILL NOT show up in front page.

How can I do this?

u can to do it.
open your module and sellect your catergory ID

I did that but its not working.
Please guide me thru in basic, basic instructions.

I need to set up local news for different cities.
I have a new section set up called “country”
Then I set up different categories per city. “city 1” “city 2″…
Then I set up a UNIQUE ja_news module per city and selected the city’s category number.

But its not working.

Each city has own page. And it MUST have own news.

Plus in the City page, I am using the “default” JA News template.

I picked the category but its not working. Its showing frontpage news.

I dont want frontpage news and I want city news to appear ONLY in city pages.

I gave you wrong information.
I’m using mod_janews_fp.
I cant find the place to add the category in that mod.

Hi lalaloo

With the ja new frontpage module, it will get all articles which are allowing to display on the main page.
It does not support for your idea.
I am afraid that you have to use ja news module to solve some ideas of you.
