Hallo,
I have two problems.
1. If I can edit Modules Ja News Frontpage and editing parameters, later I can’t Save new parameters. Why? I click Save oraz Apply, but my browser no reaction. I can click only Cancel.
2. In my website display error:
<blockquote>Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /plugins/system/jat3/core/menu/base.class.php on line 61</blockquote>
I have updated files this plugin.Regards,

December 24, 2010 at 3:15 am #368409Hi,
1. Because ja news frontpage module save parameters to profile file, these profiles are stored in “profiles” folder (in folder “modulesmod_janews_fp” ), please check permission for the “profiles” folder.2. your problems are because of no links, no menu items, so this plugin can’t get list links to render menu.
If you are not able to solve the same then, please provide me your site url and account login, i will check it for you.
December 26, 2010 at 4:47 pm #368612I have the same problem too, below the menu
Did you get it fixed?

December 27, 2010 at 2:12 am #368689Hi @kyriakos4,
I think your problems is because the site didn’t store the profile file. Please provide me your admin user account and ftp account, i will check and fix it for you.
December 28, 2010 at 4:09 pm #368941I am trying to set up the template and facing the same problem with janews frontpage module: can not modify the module. I have already check permission setting of profile folder in mod_janews_fp, there is nothing unsual there.

December 30, 2010 at 2:32 am #369268Hi @pkps,
On ja telline iv you can resolve two questions as
1, I think your problem is because on config page, js files didn’t load and “profile” didn’t save, please check permission of folders.2, Go to admin > menus, if on menu dropdown there is no menu item after “magazine” menu item, please add new menu item after it.
If it is not resolved, please provide me your ftp account and admin user information. I shall have a look and help you.
thankx,

January 4, 2011 at 2:01 am #369905Hi @k0nan,
Your problems are because on admin page of janews_fp called css,js path incorrectly. To fix there problems you must update japaramhelper.php file on location “modules/mod_janews_fp/elements/” (we are going to fix there problems on new version of janews_fp), you can read my solution on reference topic http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/ja-news-pro-module-problem/#post-369816
If you can’t resolve, please provide me your website infomation (ftp, admin user accounts)jantunes Friendjantunes

January 5, 2011 at 9:47 am #370205This solution does not work! It’s as simple as that.
You’ll have to find something else. I’ve my site working with the version of JA News FP form Teline 3 because this one is broken. So please get something done instead of suggesting a solution that is not working for people, as you’ll find if you chek the answers to your suggestion in the thread you refer.
This is what I HATE about JA support. They tend to refer you from answer to answer when there is no answer at all.:((
January 5, 2011 at 4:19 pm #370289It works for me!

January 29, 2011 at 5:14 pm #374393Hello hongnt1 or any other support.
I don’t know what that means to go to admin module and set profile module to teline iii.
I have had teline ii running for a year. I installed and ran JoomArt Extensions Manager. I updated all JoomlArt.com items.
Mostly, the site seems to work. But mod_janews_fp (1.3.8) didn’t hold the old preferences. I open it, change it and it won’t Save or Apply. I read other threads, chmod’d some folders, made a change to japaramhelper.php –
I have gone back to 1.3.1 and the module works fine, but of course the page doesn’t load. 1.3.7 also doens’t save.
What is next? I don’t have a profile module to change. or an admin module.
Ideas?
Thanks, Joe
January 31, 2011 at 4:21 pm #374616I still haven’t found a fix to this problem – I have updated to all of the latest templates, extensions etc.
Any further info welcomed
Thank you
