    I have a bizarre problem. JA News Frontpage version 1.3.3 works perfectly on my test page:

    http://www.pecc.org/test-fp

    But when I change the module to be on the Frontpage (where it’s intended to be!) it won’t show any articles!

    This only happens on the live site, which forces me to work on this issue while its live which is absolutely horrendous!

    I have used Chrome’s “inspect element” and note the following difference in the code:

    I have noticed that the parameters for ja-zinhl-newsitem are missing:

    display: block;
    height: 262px;
    overflow: hidden;
    position: relative;

    Which is probably at least a part of the solution. But I can’t figure out why this is? Why would the frontpage handle this div differently?

    Any help would be most appreciated! I really don’t want to roll back this update…

    UPDATE:

    The frontpage looks fine now on the live site, but NOT because I could figure out the solution. I simply linked the “Home” menu item away from its original frontpage component and then it worked fine. So I know the problem with JA News Frontpage (at least on my site) is that it doesn’t work on the frontpage.

    A bit of a hack, but that’s the best I could do. I hope Joomlart Developers can sort this out…
