Hi!!
I have my spanish site still in my local server.
I change everyting but in the ja new headline apeer “Leer más” in the fist new and then appear always “Read more”.
I try t fix it, but is imposible.
Any recomendation?

Two things:

It appears you do not have the Spanish language pack selected (if you even have it available).

Check SITE > CONTROL PANEL > LANGUAGE MANAGER. If Spanish is available, just select it and save and you’re good to go. Everything’s in Spanish.

If you only have the default ENGLISH language pack available…then you can hack the “Read More…” by editing the “en-GB.ini” file located at language>en-GB>en-GB.ini
Open this file in WordPad if on a PC.

About two-thirds of the way down the page you’ll find:


PUBLISH=Publish
PUBLISHED=Published
READMORE=Read more
READ MORE...=Read more...
REGISTERED=Registered
REMEMBER ME=Remember Me


Just change the above in Red to read whatever you want.

Thaks for your answer,
The spanish pack is selected, everything is in spanish but the “Read more”, I try to change the en-GB and the en-ES files, but it didn´t work.

That’s odd…did you clear your CACHE?

Also…in each separate ARTICLE there is a parameter where you can change “Read More” to say whatever you want. See attached. Perhaps you’ve got an English one tossed in there? If not, you can always add it in Spanish.

Irmaar,

I’m sorry you are still having difficulty, but the areas mentioned above encompass the entire list of areas where “Read More” is found.
