Hey guys,

Trying to get the headline portion of JA News to work for me.

The categories I created and set to display in the JA News Module are working fine. But how do I determine which “articles” or which “Category” the headline pulls from? I have all my settings in my module set exactly like that of the screen shot in the “user guide” (Hate how poorly written those things are…).

How did you solve this? I have the exact same problem, it was working at first but then i removed a couple of categorys and the headline didnt work anymore. Is there a way to change from wich category the headline pulls its articles?

It never worked for me. I had to start over using the quickstart file which it works on. I still have no idea how the stupid module works… for some reason it pulls 2 of my articles into the headline even though I have it set to pull more…

If this is somthing you need to be able to modify regularly I would suggest looking for a new template.

I have it set for 5 intro items and 4 link items…

I have 6 category ID’s entered which the correct IDs are entered.

yet it still only shows 2…

Ok, thank you for the answer. I think i might get another template then since i must be able to change this to more than 2 articles. I hope you manage to fix it somehow.

I figured out my problem. No thanks to customer support.

You have to have the articles “Front Page” published or they wont show in the headline…

even though their running through a module…
