The ja news 2 module display articles following theirs sort order, so that you ‘ll sort order for categories via the category manager and follow to this solution: http://www.joomlart.com/forums/topic/ja-news-2-multiple-rows/

Hi Terry,
We will updade list of all the module class suffix on JA Teline III userguide. Now I can quick list them for you 🙂
– JA Tabs module: module class suffix: _tabs
– Other modules dont use module class suffix such as JA Bulletin module, JA MegaMenu module, JA News module, JA Newsticker module, JA Newsfrontpage module,JA Twitter module.
Beside, there are some custom modules using mod class suffix as below:
– Book reviews: _hilite badge-top
– Tool: _fonttool

Is There any way to change JA News 2 to show 2 articles of just 1 category?. Because in my site I have 1 category for each section. But I want to show it in 2 columns.

Hi @carlamarlan,

Currently, ja news 2 module only show category of section to show in columns, you can config to show 2 articles of category in 2 columns.

Hi @alekoocio,

The ja news 2 module does not have config to hide when page loaded. However, you can update ja.admod.js on location “templates/ja_teline_iii/js”, goto “collap” function, add this line code on end of function

this.hide(el);
}, this);

Or you can download my attached file, and put in same folder

MENU BAR NOT CHANGING COLORS IN Tiii v2

I like the feature of tiii v1 where the dropdown menu would change colors. I can’t seem to get the same effect in tiii v2.
Does anyone have an idea why?

Hi there,

I’m having a lot of problems with the display of the JA News II module on a live website of ours: http://www.collectionslink.org.uk.

I have posted a picture of the problem, but essentially, the module is displaying 2 different types of error:

1. The content displays a set of headings from one category only (see image), left-aligned in such a way that they break the template and;

2. We see the same ‘ja-zin’ error that has been reported already in this thread.

*Please* could someone help us with this. We have put many hours into the site, and this one error is distracting our users and undermining their confidence.

We have implemented a number of the proposed fixes (except the ‘JA Comment’ fix because when we try to download the JA Comment component to install it, we get a message to say we don’t have permission to download it…).

Any help/guidance gratefully received!

Hi Andrew40,

Where you say ‘just enable ja comments’ – did you have to download the JA Comments component separately and then install it, or is this something you already had installed? Only I don’t have the option to enable JA Comments and am using JOMComment as my comments module. Also, I don’t want to turn off ‘usersettings’ because my users use the usersettings when using the site from a mobile.
